REFRL was born out of the realization that people are scared to use the services of tradespeople or to perhaps use other Professionals, because of stories they may have heard that they lose their deposits for a project or by losing a huge investment or even sit with an unfinished job or a complete mess as they used a person with no references or credibility. In South Africa, words like service, great quality and reliability is used way too frequent and totally out of context.

The management team of REFRL has 30+ years experience in the retail trade as well as voluntary buying groups and looking back, been trained and mentored by some of the best in the business.

One of the owners is an avid DIY person and attempted a few projects during lockdown.
He tried, tested and failed miserably from so called tradespeople and professionals ‘knowing’ their trade, from the basic lack of time-keeping, right through to not keeping with the brief, design, specifications and budget.

They then decided to complete the development of REFRL and to launch this to assist others with similar issues and so stop you and others from experiencing similar challenges, frustrations and financial loss. REFRL however, is a Network that includes most types of Professionals and not just contractors. We also include Vendors or Merchants in the form of independent retail stores, street and online vendors. 

We also invite various suppliers in any industry to complete their applications to join us.

The whole idea with REFRL, is to make your search easy and if you don’t find what you need, to let us know and we will make sure to get individuals or companies to be verified, approved and so to join REFRL in order to make your dreams come true. We want you to enjoy your experience on this Ecosystem and to make the process to get Professionals to you or you to them, in time, on time and within budget. It is important to keep things as easy and painless as possible. You obviously work hard for your money and so important for us that you have fun. Important to know, that we built in a very cool and needed Security feature. All our Professionals have a Professional Profile registered on REFRL and if these Professionals travel, they need to share their vehicle details and registration numbers with you. Also Very important is that they identify themselves with and to show you their REFRL membership card. Scan the QR code and see if they are legit. Their uniform and vehicles should also show you by means of various approved and membership logos that they are indeed Proud Members of the REFRL Group.

When using the REFRL search-engine, the algorithm uses your current geo-location and allows you to search for Professionals up to 2000km from your home or business or third-party address. This is for in case you also need a Professional at your holiday house, business or just to assist someone else. It is equally important to know, that each one of our Trade-Members offer a 12 month guarantee on their workmanship, uses pre-approved and listed products and offer best service.

Should bad workmanship slip through, REFRL has 3rd party liability and bad workmanship insurance and with that said, there should be NO real risk.

Before any work starts, the REFRL Member will endeavor to give you a quote on site and you can except, scan and pay the deposits there and then. Unfortunately, if for any reason the REFRL systems are not used, we as REFRL cannot guarantee workmanship or reliability.

Our Members are rated by users and this determines whether they move up or down within this Ecosystem or even drop off due to continuous bad attitudes or workmanship.
You can finally Refer these Professionals to other users, friends or colleagues and earn yourself REWRDS (Finders fee / Commissions or loyalty points in the form of REWRD points).
